Current Openings Details:

 

Staff Appraiser

The desired candidate will be responsible for the development and reporting of appraisals for FCAD. The appraiser will perform a combination of field inspections, market analysis and value presentations during appraisal review board hearings.

Qualifications:
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.  Must be able to successfully complete Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation registration requirements and advancements. Must be able to use personal vehicle on the job daily. A valid Texas Driver’s license and proof of liability insurance coverage is required upon hiring.

Minimum Requirements:

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Must be a Texas resident and have a valid Texas driver’s license

Prior appraisal experience would be preferred but not required.

Person selected must agree to and pass a criminal background check and a drug test.

 

 

Customer Service and Excemptions Specialist

We are seeking an individual who is reliable, self-motivated, and has excellent verbal and written communications skills.  The ideal candidate must have the ability to read and interpret information in the Property Tax Code, must be able to adapt to periods of increased workloads or production requirements, and must be detail oriented. Some travel may be required for education purposes.

Qualifications:

An applicant must be a team player and be proficient in the following areas:  Math; 10 key; basic knowledge of office equipment; Microsoft Office Suite software. Prior customer service experience and working with the public is helpful. Bilingual is a plus.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Required Education: High school diploma or GED (some college preferred).

Must be a Texas resident and have a valid Texas driver’s license.

Person selected must agree to and pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
