To all taxpayers of Fannin County,
On August 14th, 2020 Fannin Central Appraisal District will be mailing out postcards to all owners of property in Fannin County. The purpose of the postcard is to direct property owners to a website https://fannin.countytaxrates.com/tax created under the provisions of SB2 in an effort to keep taxpayers informed and aware of tax rates being considered by the taxing jurisdictions (County, School Districts and Cities). The website is searchable and will provide important information regarding the time and location of public hearings and specific taxing unit points of contact. Questions regarding individual property taxes should be directed to the point of contact at the taxing unit and not the appraisal district.
